Communication Policy

CLASSDOJO

ClassDojo is  our main communication tool with families. On this platform, you are able to receive schoolwide announcements, communicate with your child’s teacher directly, and monitor your child’s engagement in school. We hope to have a Carnival at the end of the school year, and students who have 75% positivity points will be invited to the event. Also, Dojo points will allow students to purchase various items from our school store.

The School Store

This school store concept project is designed to inspire the entrepreneurial ideas and skills involved in operating a business. This stores purpose it to positively reinforce good behavior and responsible decision making. Our students have opportunities to earn "dollars" thought their Dojo points for effort, improvement and most importantly achievement in all aspects of their school life. Our inventory is being supplied by generous companies and organizations in various capacities.

Beginning in school year 2022/2023, we will be using the GAMA system from NYCDOE. On this system, you will be able to see your child's grades and progress as well as track your child's attendance. 

We post many of our event flyers, student activities and important notices on ClassDojo and Instagram (@ps354stem). Follow us to celebrate your child and be informed.
